Pardis Technology Park, as the most important and largest technology park in the country with the license of the Council for the Expansion of Higher Education in 2005, was established under the auspices of the presidency and in cooperation with a number of universities and scientific research centers of the country with the aim of commercializing the achievements of technologists and creating a suitable platform for the growth of technology and market development of knowledge-based companies. As one of the subsidiaries of the Office of Scientific and Technological Deputy of the Presidency, so far more than 250 units of knowledge-based technologists have been accepted out of more than 1900 applicants in advanced technology areas such as information and communication technology, biotechnology, nanotechnology, new materials, mechanics, and automation, and these technologist units have been able to establish their research centers or design and engineering offices in Pardis Technology Park.
