The Minister of Communications and Information Technology announced the approval of 23 e-government projects in the Cabinet meeting and stated: “We must strive to provide government services to the people at a lower cost.” According to the information center of the Office of the Government, the Council of Ministers, in the meeting of 22/1/1397, based on the joint proposal of the country’s administrative and employment organizations, the country’s program and budget organization, and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, with the aim of creating coordination among agencies, all executive agencies are required to provide information, online web services, electronic inquiries, and mobile applications services for operationalizing the (priority projects including electronic taxation, electronic government transactions, electronic health, electronic insurance, academic document verification, completing the relative causal information identity database, electronic treasury, and electronic service management) for operation in the National Information Exchange Center, Iranian National FOIA Portal, Mobile Government System, Country’s Comprehensive Information Monitoring System (PAAK), Unified Business Licensing System, Service Management System, Executive Agencies Structure Management System, Iranian Employee System, and other integrated gateways (portals), as needed, to the relevant authorities.
